DPRD SUMEDANG, Komisi -- KOMISI I DPRD Kabupaten Sumedang menerima audiensi dari Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) dan Aliansi Mahasiswa Sumedang terkait kenaikan harga BBM, Kamis (8/9/2022).

Masa aksi diterima oleh jajaran Ketua beserta Anggota Komisi I di Ruang Rapat I DPRD Sumedang.

Adapun aspirasi yang disampaikan masa aksi pada penerimaan audiensi saat itu adalah penolakan kenaikan harga BBM, mendorong DPRD melakukan pengawasan data penerima Bantalan Sosial BBM yang dianggarkan untuk meminimalisasi dampak ekonomi dari kenaikan BBM dan memastikan bantuan tersebut disalurkan dalam bentuk uang sebagaimana mestinya di daerah pemilihan masing-masing.

Mahasiswa menilai, selama ini masih terdapat kekeliruan pendataan penerima bansos serta yang diterima bukan uang melainkan sembako.


"Untuk itu, kami mendorong DPRD untuk melakukan pengawasan di dapilnya masing-masing," ungkap seorang mahasiswa.

Menanggapi hal itu, Ketua Komisi I Asep Kurnia, S.H, M.H mengatakan, pihaknya melalui lembaga DPRD akan menyampaikan aspirasi tersebut ke Pemerintah Pusat.

Menurut Asep, kenaikan BBM berdampak kepada berbagai bidang terutama ekonomi. Untuk itu, pihaknya mendorong aspirasi tersebut.

"Kenaikan BBM ini memang berpotensi berdampak pada bidang ekonomi, baik untuk kalangan bawah maupun menengah, kami akan sampaikan aspirasinya ke tingkat pusat," ujarnya.

Namun demikian, Asep menegaskan, kebijakan kenaikan harga BBM merupakan keputusan Pemerintah Pusat. Selain menyampaikan aspirasi itu, kata Asep, DPRD bersama Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Sumedang telah melakukan langkah-langkah untuk meminimalisasi dampaknya dengan menganggarkan Bantalan Sosial.

"Kami DPRD telah melakukan langkah-langkah solusi. Dan kami menyetujui untuk melakukan pengawasan terhadap penyaluran bantuan tersebut," ungkapnya.


Aksi unjuk rasa tersebut mendapat pengamanan dari pihak TNI-Polri serta Satpol PP Wilayah Hukum Sumedang.
