Ketua DPRD Sumedang Bantu Evakuasi Pasien RSU Pascagempa di Malam Tahun baru 2024

KETUA DPRD Sumedang Irwansyah Putra (kemeja putih) membantu proses evakuasi pasien RSU Sumedang pascagempa, Minggu Malam. humas

DPRD SUMEDANG -- KETUA DPRD Kabupaten Sumedang Irwansyah Putra melakukan peninjauan ke Rumah Sakit Umum Kabupaten Sumedang pascagempa yang menyebabkan keretakan pada lantai rumah sakit tersebut, pada malam pergantian tahun, Minggu Malam (31/12/2023).


Gempa yang terjadi pada malam pergantian tahun itu menyebabkan sejumlah lantai di RSU Sumedang mengalami keretakan, sehingga pasien harus dievakuasi ke luar gedung.


Irwansyah yang semula akan melaksanakan monitoring malam pergantian tahun bertolak ke RSU untuk meninjau langsung situasi.


Sesampainya di RSU, Irwansyah bersama para pihak terkait membantu proses evakuasi pasien yang ditempatkan sementara di halaman parkir dan jalan di depan RSU.


"Hari ini ada cerita di Kabupaten Sumedang, Allah berkehendak untuk menguji kita masyarakat Sumedang dengan adanya gempa," ujar Irwansyah.


Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun dari BMKG, gempa terjadi di malam tahun baru, pukul 20.34 WIB, Minggu 31 Desember 2023. Gempa ini diawali oleh dua gempa bumi pembuka berkekuatan M 4,1 yang terjadi pada pukul 14.35 WIB dan M 3,4 pada pukul 15.38 WIB.


Irwansyah menyampaikan bela sungkawa kepada seluruh masyarakat atas musibah yang dialami saat ini.


"Atas nama Pimpinan dan seluruh Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Sumedang, kami mengucapkan turut berbelasungkawa yang sebesar-besarnya," ucapnya.


Irwansyah mengimbau kepada masyarakat agar tetap waspada untuk mengantisapi gempa susulan yang bisa saja terjadi kembali.


"Kita tidak mengharapkan ada gempa susulan, namun kemungkinan bisa saja terjadi, untuk itu tetap waspada dan berdoa," ungkapnya. humas
