Ilmawan: Pembangunan Jembatan Siliwangi Hum 54 Membawa Maslahat Tingkatkan Perekonomian

PANGDAM III Siliwangi Nugroho Budi menandatangani Peresmian Jembatan Siliwangi Hum 54, Kamis. humpro

DPRD SUMEDANG -- WAKIL Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Sumedang menghadiri Peresmian Jembatan Gantung Siliwangi Hum 54, di Desa Palabuan, Kecamatan Ujungjaya, Kamis (11/3/2021).

Jembatan Siliwangi Hum 54 yang dibangun Pemerintah Pusat bersama TNI Kodam III Siliwangi itu, diresmikan oleh Pangdam III Siliwangi Mayjen TNI Nugroho Budi Wiryanto, S.I.P., M.M.

Peresmian dihadiri unsur Forkopimda Sumedang dan Majalengka. Yaitu, Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Sumedang Dr. H. Dony Ahmad Munir, S.T, M.M - H. Erwan Setiawan, S.E dan Bupati Majalengka Dr. H. Karna Sobahi, M.M.Pd beserta jajaran pemerintah dari masing-masing daerah dan sejumlah petinggi TNI di wilayah Kodam III/Siliwangi.

Jembatan Hum 54 memiliki panjang 150 meter melintasi Sungai Cimanuk, menghubungkan Kabupaten Sumedang dengan Majalengka, yakni Desa Palabuan, Ujungjaya dengan Desa Babakan Anyar, Kecamatan Kadipaten, Majalengka.

Pangdam Nugroho Budi menuturkan, pembangunan jembatan gantung itu merupakan program Pemerintah Pusat untuk membangun 1000 jembatan di seluruh Indonesia yang melibatkan TNI dalam pembangunannya.

"Dan diharapkan bisa membantu bagi peningkatan perekonomian warga di dua kabupaten yakni Sumedang dan Majalengka," ucapnya.

Masih di tempat yang sama, Wakil Ketua DPRD Sumedang Ilmawan menyampaikan, pihaknya menyambut baik dibangunnya jembatan gantung Siliwangi Hum 54 itu. Ilmawan berharap, keberadaan jembatan dapat membawa manfaat dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di dua wilayah tersebut.

"Diharapakan jembatan ini membawa kemaslahatan bagi dua desa, yakni Desa Palabuan dan Desa Babakan Anyar, juga dua kecamatan, yakni Ujungjaya dan Kadipaten. Serta dua kabupaten, yakni Kabupaten Sumedang dan Majalengka," ucapnya.

Sementara itu, dalam Sambutanya, Wabup Sumedang Erwan Setiawan mengatakan, adanya jembatan gantung itu sangat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat sebagai sarana transportasi. Terutama dalam menunjang mobilisasi perekonomian di antara dua kabupaten tersebut baik di bidang perdagangan maupun pertanian.

Selanjutnya, Bupati Majalengka Haji Karna mengatakan, adanya jembatan Siliwangi Hum 54 itu, selain dapat mendongkrak  perekonomian kedua wilayah, juga menjadi sarana penghubung silaturahmi yang lebih erat antara warga dua di kabupaten itu.

Di sisi lain, Salah satu tokoh masyarakat Sumedang H. Umuh Muchtar, menyampaikan, dibangunnya jembatan tersebut diharapkan mampu memacu semangat  masyarakat untuk meningkatkan perekonomiannya. humpro
