Hadiri HSN 2023, Ilmawan Ajak Santri Berperan Lawan Kemiskinan dan Stunting

WAKIL Ketua DPRD Sumedang H. Ilmawan Muhamad, S.Ag., M.M., menyerahkan penghargaan kepada Bintang Santri Sumedang 2023 pada Peringatan Hari Santri Nasional 2023, Senin.

DPRD SUMEDANG -- WAKIL Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Sumedang H. Ilmawan Muhamad, S.Ag., M.M., menghadiri Upacara Peringatan Hari Santri Nasional 2023 tingkat Kabupaten Sumedang, di Lapang Upacara Pusat Pemerintahan Sumedang (PPS), Senin (23/10/2023).


Upacara dibina oleh Pj. Bupati Sumedang Drs. Herman Suryatman, M.Si.


Pelaksanaan peringatan HSN kali ini dilaksanakan dengan kolaborasi antara OPD Pemkab Sumedang dengan Pondok Pesantren. 


"Hari Santri Nasional tahun 2023 ini sangat istimewa. Bagaimana OPD berkolaborasi dengan pesantren untuk bersama-sama memeriahkan HSN. Ini menunjukkan soliditas yang kuat antara santri dan pemerintah," kata Pj Bupati Sumedang. 


Herman menuturkan, kolaborasi antara OPD dengan pesantren ini diharapkan menjadi spirit untuk saling bertansformasi dalam mewujudkan Sumedang Beyond Simpati, dengan ditandai turunnya angka kemiskinan dan new zero stunting di Kabupaten Sumedang. 


"Saya harap seluruh santri di Sumedang bisa menjadi agen pembaruan pembangunan di daerahnya masing-masing. Tema jihad santri ini, kita maknai dengan berjihad dalam membangun bangsa," tutur Herman.


Sementara, Ilmawan menuturkan, pihaknya bersyukur HSN diramaikan oleh ribuan santri dari berbagai pelosok Sumedang.


"Alhamdulillah kegiatan hari ini upacara dan karnaval dihadiri lebih dari 2000 santri yang ada di Kabupaten sumedang," ujarnya.


Ribuan santri tersebut tampak merayakan HSN dengan begitu semangat, ceria dan gembira. Menurut Ilmawan hal tersebut menggambarkan kesiapan para santri khususnya yang ada di Kabupaten Sumedang mewujudkan tema jihad santri jayakan negeri untuk menangani stunting dan kemiskinan.


"Mudah-mudahan ini memperlihatkan partisipasi dari para santri dalam rangka membangun negeri ini, dalam rangka mencegah stunting dan mengatasi kemiskinan, peran santri yang cukup besar sekali."


"Dan mudah-mudahan para santri yang ada di Kabupaten Sumedang bisa muncul pemimpin-pemimpin yang siap untuk membangun negeri ini," tambahnya. humas
