DPRD Dorong Pemda Sumedang Revitalisasi Pasar Parakanmuncang Cimanggung

DPRD SUMEDANG -- KETUA DPRD Kabupaten Sumedang H. Sidik Jafar, S.E., mendorong Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Sumedang untuk merevitalisasi Pasar Parakanmuncang, yang berlokasi di Desa Sindangpakuwon, Kecamatan Cimanggung.


Dorongan tersebut disampaikan Sidik Jafar usai menerima audiensi dari sejumlah perwakilan pedagang Pasar Parakanmuncang, di Ruang Kerjanya di Gedung DPRD Sumedang, Selasa (8/4/2025).

Audiensi juga dihadiri Ketua Komisi I Asep Kurnia, S.H., M.H., yang merupakan Anggota Dewan dari Dapil V, yang meliputi Jatingangor dan Cimanggung. Kemudian Anggota Dewan lainnya Didi Suhrowardi, S.Sos.I.

"Para pedagang Pasar Parakanmuncang mendatangi DPRD untuk menyampaikan aspirasi saking ingin mendapatkan kenyamanan di pasar, kami mendorong Pemerintah Daerah Sumedang agar segera melakukan revitalisasi," ujar Sidik Jafar.

Sidik Jafar menuturkan, berdasarkan keluhan sejumlah pedagang tersebut, kondisi pasar saat ini cukup memprihatinkan baik dari segi kebersihan, di mana saat terjadi hujan menjadi becek, timbulnya bau tidak sedap. Hingga sulitnya lahan parkir dan sejumlah masalah lainnya.

Sejumlah permasalahan tersebut berdampak pada kenyamanan warga pasar baik para pedagang maupun konsumen.

Bahkan Kata Sidik Jafar, menurut pedagang, kondisi pasar yang tidak nyaman berdampak pada berkurangnya konsumen karena berpindah belanja ke pasar lain di luar daerah Sumedang.

"Dampak tidak nyamannya kondisi pasar saat ini dirasakan oleh pedagang dengan berkurangnya konsumen yang pindah berbelanja ke pasar Cicalengka. Dari hal tersebut kami mohon Pemda segera cepat tanggap. Dan Insya Allah langkah-langkah bupati saat ini akan baik," tuturnya.
