Doa Bersama, Wakil Ketua DPRD Sumedang ajak Masyarakat Berupaya Lahir dan Batin Cegah Bencana

DPRD SUMEDANG -- WAKIL Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Sumedang H. Ilmawan Muhamad, S.Ag menghadiri Isighosah dan Doa Bersama Forkopimda Sumedang, di Masjid Al Kamil IPP Sumedang, Senin (9/5/2022).

Ilmawan mengatakan, kegiatan tersebut merupakan upaya spiritual dengan memanjatkan doa kepada Tuhan untuk memohon agar dilindungi dari segala macam musibah.

"Selain upaya yang dilakukan secara lahir, kita juga berusaha berserah diri atau tawakal kepada Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala memohon perlindungannya dari segala musibah," ungkapnya

Selain itu, kata Ilmawan, pihaknya juga mendukung upaya-upaya pencegahan bencana yang dilakukan berbagai pihak.

"Kita berusaha dengan pihak BPBD, Satpol PP, TNI dan Polri dan pihak terkait di dalamnya untuk senantiasa menghindari dan meminimalisasi bencana di Kabupaten Sumedang," ujarnya.

Doa bersama itu diikuti Unsur Forkopimda Sumedang beserta jajarannya masing-masing, mulai dari SKPD, TNI, Polri dan unsur lainnya.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Bupati Sumedang Dr. H Dony Ahmad Munir, S.T, M.M, mengatakan, Sumedang merupakan daerah yang berbukit-bukit yang memiliki potensi bencana alam, dengan doa bersama diharapkan dapat memberikan keselamatan dari segala macam bencana tersebut.

 "Semoga dengan berbagai upaya pencegahan bencana di Kabupaten Sumedang juga pentingnya bersama-sama menjaga kelestarian alam dan lingkungan, dapat menjauhkan kita dari marabahaya bencana," ujar Bupati Dony.

Adapun kegiatan tersebut diisi dengan penyampaian ceramah oleh Ustaz Abdul Kodir, MA dan ulasan kajian teknis lingkungan oleh para ahli lingkungan. humas
